Local lakes

Today I popped across to my local nature reserve for a reconaissance. The light was not great - but there was a lot going on. It was a bit of a surprise to find teal, widgeon, shovellers, little grebes and snipe so close to my home.

Only really made one decent shot in the day though - but I plan to go back and it can only get better!

  1. Hi Ian,
And that's a really decent shot, even more than that mate. A splendid one for this species. I went out today and got sun but no bird came close enough to get a nice decent shot ;-)
